As an experienced professional Instructional Developer of eLearning and instructor-led training products and services, I have wide and varied experience leading and managing the design and delivery of organizational training, and more importantly the learning and developmental needs of employees and customers. In addition, I have also had the privilege of providing learning solutions for the public-at-large as well as for local city and county government personnel in Georgia. My contributions at CDCwere recognized in 2016 for the development of 14 competency-, evidence-, and scenario-based laboratory safety courses, garnering CDC's coveted James Virgil Peavy Award for Employee Development.
I developed this elearning course for new Traffic Signal Technicians. From the beginning it was designed to serve as a "bookend" to hands on classroom equipment training. By introducing learners to terms, concepts and processes online first, a common baseline knowledge is established. Learners then apply the new knowledge in hands on training. Targeting all employees of the Georgia Department of Transportation, this annual mandatory training meets new Federal training requirements. So successful was this project, that the University System of Georgia adopted it (with few changes) as USG's Right to Know training required for all 50,000 USG employees. This eLearning course was re-purposed from classroom training materials from National Highway Institute. Once referred to as the "best in the nation" by FHWA officials seeking an online training solution for law enforcement, this course is required for all Georgia LEOs contracted to provide "blue lights" on GDOT's construction and maintenance projects. Primary applications used: Captivate, Photoshop.

Developed for new departmental historians, consultants and others, this online course provides essential information to more accurately identify historical and cultural resources in Georgia. It's primary purpose is to assist the learner in becoming more efficient in evaluating the significance of Georgia's cultural and historical of resources.
