As an early adopter of new learning technologies, my experience demonstrates that along with the rewards, there are risks. Below, and perhaps in the spirit of risk,  are some other learning solutions I have developed.  While never fully implemented, these serve to demonstrate my eagerness to broaden my own skills as a motivated instructional developer and life-long learner.

mLearning.  This is a prototype I designed to garner funding for some software needed to develop mLearning. Primarily developed to target newly appointed  GDOT office heads and leadership, the prototype was to deploy on then newly issued Blackberry cell phones. However, a downturn in the economy, and in agencyfunding, ultimately derailed this exciting project.

Game-based learning can be an out-of-the-box solution for some subjects, but not all. I used this Flash-based reusable learning object to only propose a more engaging solution to GDOT's less-than-desirable annual, mandatory classroom training on Sexual Harassment policy and the law. While not used, the project generated heightened interest in moving the course online.  Click on the image at right to view it.
