My experience as an instructional media development manager brings with it the ability to supervise a creative team of producers, designers and copywriters, and to efficiently manage the resources needed to produce high-quality media projects. Because I thrive in high-paced work environments, you get aggressive, strategically aligned solutions in a timely fashion. Below are some samples of my video based training projects I have produced and developed.
I have produced many video-based learning solutions. The clip at right is an excerpt from a video I produced titled "Flagging for the Georgia DOT: Safety is Your Job." The video was the recipient of a 1999 Videographer Award of Distinction. The clip at left is an excerpt from another award winning video I produced that primarily targeted Highway Maintenance Foremen and Assistant Foreman. This video, titled “Edge Rut Repair for GDOT Maintenance Crews,” won the 2002 Communicator Awards competition garnering the coveted Crystal Award of Excellence and was judged to be among the best of 3,242 entries from 48 states, the District of Columbia and 9 countries, according to the award letter.
This clip is from a two part training video I produced on Deep Patching techniques and primarily geared toward Highway Maintenance Foremen. The clip essentially explains, in graphic format, how to calculate the amount of asphalt needed to fill a hole. The instructor's guide I created to accompany the video included some exercises requiring the calculations explained here.
