My experience developing classroom materials range from designing and creating collaterals including everything from name tags, tent cards, brochures, marketing posters, designing binder covers to sharpening pencils. Listed below are just a few of some of my instructional design products I developed for the classroom.
Lesson Plans. Long a critical part of the professional trainers tool skills, Lesson plans for instruction are essential to provide consistent training across multiple classroom training events, and for different facilitators. My experience developing test- and assessment-instruments include self checks, pre- and post- training tests, end of course formative assessments, and after the training summative evaluations to determine performance improvement. The items on my tests directly address learning objectives identified for the course, and they are measureable. On occasion,even early in the analysis phase of instructional design, I work with SMEs to come up with a list of questions that target learners need to answer correctly after having completed the training - an effective technique I use often.
